I applied for access. How long will it take to be accepted?
All applications are processed daily. Approvals can take anywhere from 1 day to 1 week. Authorized access depends on our supply and the demand of orders.
Why do I have to be approved?
One main goal is to provide stylists with inventory they can count on. If we opened the ordering process to everyone, it could clear out our stock and stylists who depend on us to run their business would be without supply for an unknown period.
How many wefts are sold in each pack?
Our HANDTIED wefts are sold in packs of 120 grams and in individual singles
16” - 8 wefts (15 grams each, 11.5" wide)
18” - 8 wefts (15 grams each, 11.5" wide)
22” - 6 wefts (20 grams each, 11.5" wide)
24” - 6 wefts (20 grams each, 11.5" wide)
THE STRAND is our new micro weft. A pack is one long weft, 35” wide and a single measures 11.5" wide.
18" pack = 80 grams (1 piece, 35" wide)
18" single= 27 grams (1 piece, 11.5" wide)
22" pack= 90 grams (1 piece, 35" wide)
22" single= 30 grams (1 piece, 11.5" wide)
What is the origin of your hair?
Our premium hair is ethically sourced from Southeast Asia.
How is your hair ethically sourced?
Our hair is ethically sourced in the terms that the women who donate their hair choose to donate it and they are compensated current market value. Also, the women are aware of the fact their hair will be colored, processed, and sold in the form of extensions.
How do I tell my clients to maintain their extensions?
With each pack of hair purchased, you will receive a FREE haircare card with instructions. Please go over these instructions with your guests. We also offer extra packs of hair care cards to purchase. Educating the guest about hair care is the responsibility of the stylist.
How is THE STRAND different from a hand tied weft?
Our new innovative, "The STRAND" weft is made by machine, yet thinner than a hand tied weft. You can cut anywhere along the seam. There is no fold over that occurs with tying a knot so there is no “mustache.” THE STRAND will not unravel, resulting in less shedding.
The color I’m looking for is out of stock. How do I know when it will be back in stock?
Once we receive confirmation from our supplier that a restock is shipping, we update our site and add the expected date under each blend and length. If a color is out of stock and there is no “expected to arrive on or before…” under the description, feel free to message us through the app. We would be happy to assist you. Also, once our restock has been updated on the site, you will receive a text or notification through the app about our restock.
Can I EXCHANGE or RETURN hair?
We do allow exchanges and returns within 30 days of the order date for the Continental U.S. only. We do not accept exchanges or returns for Canada orders.
RETURNS- All returns must be in the original packaging and all binding must be in tact. Once we receive the product in hand your refund will be processed. All returns (minus shipping) will be processed on the original form of payment. There will be a 10% restocking fee. To receive your return shipping label please contact us by text: (833) 385-1800 or email: email@example.com. If you wish to avoid the restocking fee, we can process an exchange for you or store credit.
EXCHANGES- All exchanges must be in the original packaging and all binding must be in tact. Once we receive the product in hand your exchange will be processed. Incoming and outgoing packages are sent by UPS Ground. See the map below for transit (business) days. If the order needs to be expedited the stylist is responsible for the cost difference in shipping. You may exchange your order for a new order and pay a difference if upgraded. We can also apply the amount (minus shipping) to a gift card to avoid a restocking fee. 3 Day Select for $24.95 (3-4 days)

Do you ship to Canada?
Yes, We currently ship to all Canada territories with 2 shipping options. The customer is responsible for duties, tariff's and Customs fees for their order.
UPS Standard Ground- $35 (5-10 days)
UPS Expedited- $75 (2-4 days)
Will you ship to Hawaii and Alaska?
Yes, We ship to all US States including Alaska and Hawaii.
When will I receive my order?
Strands of Humanity currently ships from Boise, and the duration of your shipping depends on the distance. Once your items ship, you will receive the tracking information via email.
All orders ship same day if received by 1:00pm Mountain Time Monday through Friday. Only orders with over night and 2 Day Air will ship out on Saturdays. We are closed Sundays.
Transit days are for BUSINESS DAYS only. Please account for weekends.
