Strands of Humanity’s first featured hairstylist of the month is Victoria Lowman, the Louisburg, KS owner of Victoria Rose Hair Design. Victoria is a talented stylist who has offered extensions for 8 years. She’s certified in multiple attachment methods, including IBE, NBR, Aqua, tape-ins, I-tips, fusion, micro beads, and beaded wefts.
Victoria was first magnetized to extensions when she went to a hair show at 18 years old and saw extensions being installed on stage. Having always looked for ways to fix her own short, thin hair, she immediately fell in love with the life-changing process and the results, and knew that she wanted to give other people the same life-changing experience. She loves watching the number of selfies her clients take skyrocket after she helps them create their new look. Her work feels deeply artistic and satisfying.
Ultimately, the most rewarding part about being a hairstylist for Victoria is that she gets to help people every single day. She relates deeply to the pain her clients experience when they don’t feel confident in their natural hair, so being able to give these women confidence like never before is unbelievably rewarding. She especially values the relationship-building aspect of her work. Hair is tied to emotion, and the bonds she creates with her clientele fuel her in the day-to-day. As a true girl’s girl, she views each day at the studio as another day she gets to spend hanging out with her people.
Outside of work, Victoria’s favorite thing is spending time with her son and husband on RV trips and riding RZRs. She also loves hosting parties and being surrounded by lots of good people.
